Description: This annual event is the highlight of the summer in Falls Church. This year marks the return to the event of venerable White House correspondent Helen Thomas, still “taking no prisoners” as an aggressive, truth-seeking journalist who has covered every U.S. president since JFK, and is now covering President Obama’s White House. The News-Press is the only newspaper in the Washington, D.C. region to carry Thomas’ column every week.
